Why not just hire a designer full-time?
Hiring a senior-level designer full-time, costs over $100,000 a year, plus their benefits. Additionally, finding available talent can be challenging. With us, you can pause and resume your subscription as needed, ensuring you only pay for design when you have active projects.
Is there a limit on the number of requests?
You can add unlimited design requests to your queue once subscribed, and we'll deliver them one by one.
How fast will I receive my designs?
That depends on your requests. Some designs are completed in a couple of days or less, though the complex projects may take longer.
Who are the designers?
I’m proud to say Kalam Balam is a one man army. So you’ll be working directly with the branding artist. For power-ups like animations, complex coding, large productions or big size projects, I can collaborate with partner designers, photographers, film makers and musicians, just note that depending on the nature of the project, this most likely require extra cost.
How does the pause feature work?
If you don't have ongoing design needs, you can pause your subscription. This stops billing and preserves the remaining service time for future use.
How do I request designs?
We offer a first consultation for free where we’ll listen to your needs and suggest the solutions we believe apply better to your project and those we can offer to cover those needs. Once your subscription fee has been covered, we are available to further discuss projects through video conference, email, or text messages.
What if I don't like the design?
We'll revise the design until you're completely satisfied.
Is there any design work you don't cover?
We don’t handle 3D modeling, big production photo shoots or film making, document design (like medical forms), complex packaging, or extensive print design (such as magazines or books).
What if I only have a single request?
No problem. You can pause your one week subscription when you're done and return when you have more design needs.
Are there any refunds if I don't like the service?
We do not offer refunds due to the high quality of our work. If we believe we are not a good fit for your project, we will tell you and perhaps even have a recommendation on where you can take that work to.
